Photography is an art, and practice of creating images that can be used to preserve memories of special occasions or moments, tell a story, send a message or can be used in a professional manner like for business, science, keeping records and manufacturing, storing information it is also a form of entertainment. these images are created by a camera that has a light sensitive material, a lens is used to focus on the object or image and its light reflected is on the light sensitive material inside the camera this results in an electronic charge at the pixel by the electronic image sensor which is electronically stored in the form of a digital file that can be processed and viewed on a paper base known as print or can be viewed digitally, photography has gained popularity these days with the development of digital cameras that are easy to use and maintenance free there are many companies like Nikon, Sony, Kodak, Canon, Fuji etc. that have a wide collection of digital cameras in the market  this is giving rise to many amateur photographers who opt photography as a hobby and later develop it a s a profession, there are many courses that can be done to learn photography and it can also be learned under the assistance of a professional photographer.

  • Identify the need and purpose of the picture plan the picture by keeping the purpose in mind.
  • Select the object or an image that has to be captured, go to its eye level this makes a magnetic effect.
  • Background selection is also important choose a plain background to enhance the image.
  • Move closer to the object through zoom in option, so that you can capture the minute details and give the picture a live effect and makes the image more attractive.
  • Centre your focus on the object adjust the object in the middle of the frame before clicking the picture.
  • While clicking at night or during winters make arrangements for other source of lights and slow down the shutter speed.
  • Select an appropriate flash range images appear dark from a distance use the flash to enhance the lighting.
  • Edit the final picture before printing remove the additional objects in the background arrange the frames change the backgrounds add some more colours before printing the final image.
